The
Role of Technology in the 21st
Century Education
“There is nothing permanent except
change.” In this fast changing world of ours, everyone of us should
be vigilant enough in facing daily shifts.
21st
century is known as the “Age of Computers”. In this era,
technology flourished due to the gradual innovations and inventions.
Furthermore, such inventions lead to great advancements not just in
the field of economy but also in the field of education. Technology
has a played a remarkable role in the accumulation of education among
the learners.
Educators are more able to relay their
lessons to their students through the aid of technology. In like
manner, students are able to get access whatever lessons they have.
Thus, making their study faster and accountable. I should say that
classroom environment abruptly changed by the technology. However, it
is somehow more on the advantages than its ill effects to the
learners. Computer subjects are now part of the school curriculum to
provide the learners the exact value of it, at the same time, its
proper usage.
Moreover, learners in the 21st
century should acquire the skills in order to be successful, of
course, with the aid of technology. The success of the learners
merely depends on its perseverance to learn and explore new.
Curiosity must be practiced for explorations that may lead to another
advancements.
As a whole, technology is indeed a great
help in the education field. Providing the learners the necessary
information needed in their courses. Yet, abusive or improper use of
it may lead to undesirable effect.
